  Three years ago I started selling Tastefully Simple to fund raise for our first adoption. Now I am super excited to say that we are not only fundraising for our second adoption but we are going to be fundraising for other families adoptions as well!       So our Tastefully Simple Fundraiser is almost ready to go. I can't wait to start helping families who are in the process of adoption. Our plan is to select a family every other month and give them all the sales for that month. The opposite months all the sales will go towards our own adoption. I am so grateful for the opportunity to help families along their journey. I will let you know when everything is ready to go. God Bless!

Encouragement

  First of all I would like to thank all of the people who have offered their help. I can't wait to get things started! There are some details I am trying to figure out, and since I am definitely not computer savvy I might be asking for suggestions. If you have a craft or skill that you would be willing to share with me I would LOVE to work with you.
  Yes, we are fundraising for our second adoption, but there is so much more. Our goal is to show other families that we care by donating money towards their adoption as well. I know I have said this before but our family truly believes we can change the world one child at a time. So many people think about adoption but never pursue. There are many concerns people have. People worry about having a trans-racial family,they worry about possibly not loving their child or what other people will think. Yes, people stare. Yes, people ask rude personal questions. So what? I just smile and move on, or I say that's my son's personal information. The most popular question asked is " so you can't have your own children?" That's always a favorite. I can't imagine loving a biological child any different then I love my son. I say, let people stare. We are a wonderfully unique family. We are  so blessed.

  For the past couple of weeks my brain has been going crazy with fundraising ideas. I am so blessed to have the people around me who are so supportive in my venture to not only fundraise for our own adoption but other adoptions as well. This is where you come in! Not everyone is called to adopt. That being said, that doesn't mean those people can't help change the world by supporting families who are. I am asking for volunteers from the south central pa area to donate a craft or skill to help us. I have this crazy idea of selling these items to help raise funds. I know I am surrounded by people with many hidden talents. If there is anyone interested in helping, no matter how big or small, we would be honored to partner with you.
